Description: A rare Vintage old German violin unlabeled 4/4 mellow, round, smooth for repair, It was likely made ca.1930s. It made warm, complex, bassy sound. It has a narrow neck that makes it very comfortably playable. The back is formed from a single piece of quarter-cut maple, marked by medium-narrow width flame, which slants upward from the treble side. The wood on the ribs and scroll is similar to that of the back. It needs repair, and sell as is. The two Ebony Trident Cello Mutes showed in the pictures were a mistake are not included in this sale, the bridge is included. The strings are damaged. The tailpiece and fine tuner are off but still usable. No bows are included in this sale. A few scuffs or light wear on the surface. See pictures for details.
