Description: This is a genuine antique book, literally a piece of history. If it were sentient, it could tell of over a hundred years full of lives it has touched and hands it has passed through. Every year, more of these irreplaceable treasures are lost-- to fires, floods, etc., or simple carelessness. It is my hope to rescue as many as possible and help them find homes where they will be cherished and passed on to future generations. No date is printed inside, but research indicates that a series with this appearance and publisher was printed in 1906. Previous owner's inscription inside. There is an approximately 1" tear on the title page and occasional tiny tears at page edges. No missing pages. Yellowing, spots and occasional small stains. No odors.
