Description: Reduced from $1250This is an antique longuard chain in 9k yellow gold with a 15 ct swivel dog clip. Most probably English, dates to about 1890-1910. There are little faceted ball stations interspersed with the rolo or belcher links of the chain. These chains were frequently used for muffs, pocket watches, lorgnettes. There is no clasp, and the chain can be wrapped around the neck two or three times to make a beautiful necklace. It is marked 9 ct in two plaques on the chain and 15 ct on the dog clip.
