#93 Winter *HTF* JT, Pudgy, Molded Socks Nancy Ann Storybook Doll, Box

Description: This very hard-to-find, early Winter, from the Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls Season Series, has jointed legs, pudgy tummy and molded socks. Her red velvet and taffeta outfit is unfaded, which is quite unusual for reds. It has a few very minor imperfections (shown), to be expected after more than 80 years. The round spot on the front of her dress is a glue mark from the missing sticker. Her mesh underskirt is crisp and has no damage that I can see; nor do her (slightly wrinkled) pantalettes. Her bright red velvet bonnet is trimmed with a white feather. This satin-lined velvet bonnet was only used with two of the earliest Winter dolls. Her original box is sturdy and has no structural damage. It’s slightly faded and “X marks the spot” with a small green crayon on top (shown). Not sure if her restraint is original, but it will certainly be good to have! Her body and face, with bright blue eyes, have no chips or cracks. Her hair is tight and curly. Her arms and legs were just restrung, but nothing else was touched! Keep her reds as rich as they are now by displaying her carefully, perhaps not too often?
