This KIT can get your Injectors Armature Clearance to what they were when new of .004" to .005" any time. Even when stock injectors have some of them that have been replaced with newer Injectors or have been rebuilt. This kit will make your truck start faster cold and run with more power and EXTEND the life of your injectors up to 200K miles more by renewing the armature plate clearance to over .004". like new injectors. WITHOUT REMOVING YOUR INJECTORS. Over 3000 kits sold If your truck has been RUNING GREAT when warm but, has STARTED MISSING when cold OR is HARD TO START. You only need to install the shim Kit.) So, the more you put under the armature the longer they will last. New they are over .004" But, you must put the same amount of shims (plus .001" for poppet valve up-stop wear) under the solenoids to keep the armature from hitting the solenoids. The important clearance is between the solenoid and the armature when the solenoid is energized. The clearance Must be kept close to .003" plus or minus .001" to work right: which is hard to measure without energizing the solenoid. When new they were .003". Shim kit will fix that in just a couple of hours, WITHOUT removing injectors. Your truck will have more power and start faster like new injectors. The Shim kit can make your truck run like it did 100,000 miles ago, and make you injectors last 150K - 200K miles longer Most injectors do not need internal rebuild Will do up to TEN (10) INJECTORS, can add 100k to 200k miles to your old injectors WITHOUT REMOVING THEM and can also be done when injectors are removed for O-ring replacement or repair.
