Description: Rare 1968 to 1973 Univox U-3023 Dreadnought. Made in Matsumoku, Japan. Excellent Condition. Has original chipboard case and vintage strap with capo. This is a high quaility pre-lawsuit copy of a D28. Spruce top Mahogany back and sides. New Martin 11/52 strings set-up and ready to play. Low action 3.5mm at 12th fret. 25.5" play scale. 1.75" nut. 20 frets all smooth on the ends with very little to no ware. No buzzing or dead spots. Fully functional truss rod. Comes with original adjusment tool. Guitar has no crackes or real scratches. No seperations. No pull on bridge. Bridge is level with no bulging of body. All bracing is tight. No hidden repairs. Guitar has one small ding on body about the size of a ball point pin head. ( see last picture ). Has a I.D. number etched on top of body near neck pocket from previous owner/collector. Very light swirling in finish from 40 plus years of lite playing. Always keep in temp/humidity controlled home. Case is original chipboard in good condtion witha few threads popped here and there. Strap is from same era and in excellent condition along with soft capo. Sounds amazing, plays great with huge projection. Play like a big dog D28 at a fraction of the cost.
