Description: for sale we have a tilt steering column from a 77 Z28 CAMARO. we've repaired it. the turn signal switch has been tested on another camaro, and it works, with horn and emergency flashers. the bearing housing has been replaced. there is a small chip in the bottom of the shift bowl, shown in photo #6, difficult to see when installed. the ignition switch and the neutral safety switch are not tested, or guaranteed. they are easy to change, without disassembling column. use a LOCKSMART brand LC14260 lock cylinder, as it simply pushes in without taking the column apart. in short, there is no reason to remove the lock plate. if buyer removes the lock plate anyway, and dislodges the bearings, i can repair it again. cost would be $150 plus freight. the tilt/turn signal arms are clean and shiny. the only new part in it is the turn signal cancel cam, where you will connect the horn. it will fit camaros, 70-81. it will also fit firebirds, 70-77 with floor mount headlight dimmer switch. it does NOT have a cruise control switch. the current turn signal arm is CAMARO correct. shaft is NOT splined where it connects to lower jackshaft, as shown in photos. we'll include a correct nut and bolt to connect it with, as well as a steering wheel nut. be sure of your application. pretty simple. 70-81camaro 70-77 firebird (trans am) with floor mount headlight dimmer switch.
