This helmet is an original item from the period and has been well-preserved since then. This helmet was owned by friend's uncle who recently passed and served in Vietnam. This helmet was stored in gun safe so not sure if that is original Vietnam Mud on the inside or not. It also has field damage to it and looks as if it was used as a cooking pot as well.
