These prints were produced over 30 years ago with print plates made from original Civil War era woodcut engravings of Harper's Weekly and Frank Leslie's Illustrated newspapers. Printed on heavy stock paper (Total weight of all 44 prints is nearly 2 lbs.) (35) large folio prints measure 17.5" X 11.5". (9) are various smaller sizes ranging from 11.5" X 7" to 11.5" X 10.5". All prints suitable for framing. The large folio prints will fit a standard 16" X 20" frame with a 2 1/2" - 3 1/2" mat board as shown in the print titled "Emancipated Slaves, White and Colored". Framing mat board not included.
