Project Tip: When a cam lock is being fitted to a wooden panel, it is usual to drill a round hole. This washer is purposely designed to fit under the body nut of a cam lock. The compression of tightening the body nut to the spike washer cause spikes to dig into the wood or other material to prevent the lock from rotating in the hole. These washers are pre-drilled with two 3mm holes for mounting screws for additional security. (screws are not supplied) The pictures supplied are for project suggestions.
