A 3.3mm tungsten head and a slick UV finish cuts down drag, allowing the fly to drop through the water column faster than other nymphs of the same weight and size. A must for fishing swift water or deep holes. It makes a great anchor fly for European nymphing techniques. Barbless extra wide gap hooks make it great for those highly regulated waters, no mashing down barbs. I have been tying flies for over 30 years now.
