It's international conservation status is as follows: IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) Red List Least Concern (IUCN 3.1) CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora Not listed in any appendix (not protected internationally). MBTA (Migratory Bird Act) This species is non-native and not protected in the US. Covenance is maintained by the seller and sources. The first is the up date list of the conservation status of this species and the second is the legal trade status based on international treaty. CITES II basically means to live, dead, or parts of this species can be moved across borders without a specific import permit.
