This pair needs some TLC from some creative hands!! Dating back to the 1920s or 30s, these pants are French and have faced many years of loving use. Ideal for those that will patch and mend sympathetically - let me know and I can supply some heavy linen for patching! Please see both photos and condition description below for an accurate representation of wear and tear! MEASUREMENTS: These gorgeous pants measure approximately waist: 38 inches hips: 48 inches rise: 16 inches length: 37 inches inseam: 24 inches CONDITION: These pants are in as found, not freshly laundered condition. The front side is in relatively good condition, with some rusting on the buttons and a fair amount of fraying along seams and edges. The pockets have been mended several times over the years and feature a lovely patchwork of fabrics! There is a hole in the interior of the left-facing pocket, and a small, about half-inch, tear in the seam of the right-facing pocket. The back of the pants is where any creative mender can really shine! The back clasp is rusted, and the connecting sinching fabric is significantly fraying. There is a very large hole and tear extending about a third of the length of the pants on the right-facing leg (reflected). In addition, there is a hole about the size of my hand on the left-facing leg. Please see photos for close-ups of all of these! There are smaller, between penny and quarter sized, holes peppered throughout the backside of the pants.
