Description: 3/4 oz. (21 grams) DRILLED LEAD WEIGHTS SINKERS SEA CARP FISHING These are sent out in clear resealable bag (box used for viewing only). The egg sinker or slip sinker as it is sometimes called has numerous advantages over conventional sinkers. The line will slip through the sinker; thus the fish will not feel the weight of the sinker when it picks up the bait and setting the hook will be quicker without the sinkers resistance. In addition, the fish cannot use the sinkers weight to help throw the hook when breaking water. Sea or Fresh Water these chaps have too many uses to mention! The larger sizes like our 1.5 oz. are used on our boat way off shore targeting the Bass, Pollack and Cod replacing the conventional 6 or 8 oz leads plus expensive booms or sliders. We simply add these slip sinkers in numbers to weight required on 18 inch nylon with swivel on each end with added bead for shock support’ just add soft bait below as desired and away you go! Now you have a rig direct to fish with less chance of tangles, plus if you find that unforgiving lump of iron, maybe protruding funnels with cannons as extras you won’t lose all those overpriced booms and sliders just a couple of swivels one bead and a bit of lead. These are ideal adding to your flattie set-ups from harbour walls and piers or fished from the shore, you may need to add that little extra weight when using lead heads when hopping for larger targets, a must when fishing soft plastics on the productive flying collar (long flowing trace) method.
