Description: 3 *RARE*UNSMOKED*N.O.S.* pipes (1940s-1960s) : C.B.PERKINS + PICCADILLY + CHAP Three rare unsmoked new-old-stock pipes, no-filter, of various nationalities, various shapes and various bowl sizes. The pipes have been made some time in the 1940s-1960s as hinted by their tenons and the Piccadilly's horn stem. The American C.B. Perkins is a wonderful pipe with excellent grains and absence of any visible fills. Sitter, billiard with panels, big bowl (similar in size to Dunhill's Group 5). The Piccadilly, of unknown nationality, is a chubby straight bulldog with square shank and square horn stem. It is also made from a clear piece of briar (excluding two small visible fills). The Canadian is made by the French Chap for its Bruyere Extra series. Some very small, shallow and unimportant scratches on its bowl. Bonus two unused pipe tools. The sitter has approximate length 150 mm (5.91"), bowl height 48 mm (1.89"), chamber depth 38 mm (1.50"), chamber diameter 19 mm (0.75") and weighs 42 gr (1.48 oz). Shank marks : C.B.PERKINS [arched], VINTAGE, IMPORTED BRIAR [reverse arched] - Stem marks : P [calligraphic, on the side] The bulldog has approximate length 135 mm (5.31"), bowl height 43 mm (1.69"), chamber depth 34 mm (1.34"), chamber diameter 17 mm (0.67") and weighs 37 gr (1.30 oz). Shank marks : PICCADILLY, SELECTED BRIAR The darker colored billiard has approximate length 148 mm (5.83"), bowl height 44 mm (1.73"), chamber depth 37 mm (1.46"), chamber diameter 17 mm (0.67") and weighs 27 gr (0.95 oz). Shank marks : CHAP, BRUYERE EXTRA, 1051 - Stem marks : C [in hexagon, on the upper side] All 3 pipes do not take filters and have original stems, vulcanite for the Perkins and the Chap, horn for the Piccadilly. The Perkins and the Piccadilly have metal stingers in their tenons.
