Won't it sit high in the front?"A: The front and rear suspension have different geometry. The front uses McPherson struts which bolt directly to the wheel hubs. The rear has multilink and the struts bolt to an arm. The spacers are designed to account for the geometry differences in order to achieve a level lift.Q: "What other parts will I need to install this kit?"A: None, this kit comes with all necessary parts to install the lift. We do suggest inspecting your CV axles, bushings, motor mounts and struts to be sure they are in good condition for best results with this kit.Q:"Will I need an alignment after installing this kit?"A: Yes, just as if you lowered your car, lifting changes the wheel alignment. It is also recommended to install camber correction kits for lifts greater than 1 inch. Camber adjusters are included in this kit.Q: "Will lifting my car affect the axles?"A: Possibly. This kit is designed to prevent axle issues, but It depends on the total amount of lift and the type of axles you have in your vehicle. Rebuilt axles are more prone to having issues.Q: "Do I need to replace my suspension bushings when installing a lift kit?"A: It depends on the condition of your existing bushings. We always recommend inspecting your factory bushings and replacing them with urethane bushings such as Energy Suspension if needed. The added benefit of installing urethane bushings is that it allows the suspension to move more freely without binding up.Q: "Will lifting my car negatively affect the handling?"A: In most cases, yes. By lifting the suspension you are effectively raising the roll center of the car, which can cause additional body roll. Our lift kits are intended for off-road use where suspension travel and ground clearance are more important.
