Mountain folding bicycle installation guide Dear customer, 80% of the bicycles have been installed before leaving the factory, and the remaining 20% includes handlebars, front wheels, pedals, seats, etc., as well as fine tuning of brake transmission and tire inflation (a small amount of air has been charged by the factory to check if the tires are qualified), need you to install them easily. If there are any unresolved issues during the installation and debugging process, you can contact customer service to assist you in completing them. If you are not a professional driver, we suggest that you seek the help of a car mechanic to install it. (Car dealers may belittle products or promote similar products. Please do not be misled. If you have any questions, please contact us). After installation and debugging, cycling is more comfortable and labor-saving, and the lifespan of the bicycle will be longer. Next, please patiently read the installation instructions below. It is recommended to read them before installation. Step One: Pre-installation preparationAfter receiving the bicycle, please be careful not to hurt your hands by the packing belts and Sealing nails when opening the packaging. It is better to use scissors to open the box. After taking out the car, cut off all the straps and packaging on the body, and be careful not to hurt your hands.①1x car seat and 1x seat tube ② 1 pair x foot pedals ③1 pair x front and rear reflectors ④1 pair x wheel reflectors ⑤1x bell ⑥3x Tools ⑦1x sticker ⑧ 1x MudguardThere is a black protective cover on the front wheel to prevent collisions during transportation. After arrival, you can throw it away. Be careful when removing the crank stuck inside the spoke.Wrap the front fork line from the bottom of the front fork to the same side of the disc brake and the brake is on the left side of the ride. (As shown in the figure. If there is no clear indication, please ask customer service for the video explanation). To protect transportation, the handle base is facing inward when leaving the factory. It is necessary to loosen the two screws on the side of the handle and turn it forward. Step Two: Install handlebars/SeatTurn the handle base forward. Be careful not to turn the bottom of the front fork. The disc brake is on the right side when viewed from the front of the car.Use a small L-shaped wrench to loosen the four screws on the handle base and remove them. 3. The transmission number faces upwards, the letter on the handlebar faces in front of the riding angle, and the white center is in the middle of the handlebar. 4. Tighten the four fixing screws of the handle base. Pay attention to tightening diagonally first (bottom left and top right). After all four screws are tightened for the first time, tighten them diagonally in sequence. Do not tighten one screw first and then the other three. Be sure to tighten one screw evenly by two turns. 5. Turn and release the fast-dismantle part on the seat tube, hold the left side tightly with your left hand, and rotate the right hand counterclockwise to loosen it until the car seat can be inserted into it. 6. Take out the reflector and the inner washer of the mudguard and cover them on the seat tube. Insert the seat tube into the frame for at least half of its length, then pinch the fast-dismantle part tightly with the left hand, and rotate it clockwise with the right hand. After tightening, tighten firmly in the direction of the front wheel. Step Three : Install the Front WheelLoosen the fixing screws on both sides of the front wheel to the outermost position.Loosen the screws on both sides of the white protective bar on the front fork, remove the protective bar, and discard it (this accessory serves to prevent the front fork from being squeezed and deformed during transportation). 3. Place the front wheel on the front fork and the brake pads in the gap between the brake pads. 4. Place the hooks on the inner side of the fixing screws on both sides of the front fork into the circular holes on the front fork. 5. Use a No.15 wrench to evenly tighten one side of the fixing screws on both sides (one side cannot be tightened before the other side). 6. After fixing the front wheel, confirm again that the disc and brake are on the same side. Step Four : Install the PedalsImportant notes: Do not rush to install the foot pedals with different directions of rotation. Be sure to separate the left and right alignment threads. The pedals must be tightened with a No.15 wrench, otherwise it may slip or fall off during cycling.Install the L foot pedal on the left side of the bike, tighten it towards the front of the car, and finally fix it tightly with a wrench.Install the R foot pedal on the right side of the bike, tighten it towards the front of the car, and finally secure it tightly with a wrench. After tightening the foot pedal, please use the No.15 wrench to fully tighten it to prevent slipping during cycling. Step Five: Installation of on-board FreebiesLoosen the screw of the bell and the white reflector, attach it to the handlebar, and tighten it with the screw. There are grooves on the edges of the yellow reflector, which are stuck on two spokes and can be tightened towards the center of the wheel.Place the kettle holder on the front beam of the car seat and secure it tightly with two screws (toward the 90 degree cup towards the direction of the car seat).Use the built-in white screw to turn the front mudguard into the black semicircle position on the front fork, and then tighten it with a nut.The rear mudguard and red reflector can be fixed together with the car seat by covering them on the seat tube. The two mudguard screws in the picture can fix the left, right, and up and down positions of the mudguard. How to FoldBreak off the folding buckle at the folding part of the frame, rotate it until it is loose, and then lift it up forcefully to fold the frame. When you need to ride, lift the folding quick-release upwards forcefully, assemble the body together, rotate it tightly, and then firmly fasten the folding buckle to complete the assembly.Folded rendering. 4. Folded rendering. The Correct Method of the Usage If the front is 1 gear, use 12345 gear at the back If the front is 2 gear, use 234567 gear at the back; Finally, there is 3 gear, use 789th gear in the back. Notes: Please do not switch gears in place. For new cars, please switch gears during normal cycling. The mistake is to use the front1 gear with the rear 6789 gear, and the front 3 gear with the rear 1234 gear. Because in certain specific gears during use, the chain will be in a state of wear and tear. For example, in the front 1 gear with the rear 9 gear , or the front 3 gear with the rear 1 gear, although normal driving is possible, the chain may appear inclined from above. Over time, the chain may become loose or even break. If used improperly, it will only exacerbate the mechanical wear of the chain, flywheel, and toothed disc.On Oct 30, 2024 at 03:11:19 PDT, seller added the following information:
