For EXTREME QUICK Acceleration 13/45t gear ratio (Much Quicker off the line, very snappy roll on's, MUCH easier wheelies), Request a 13t (-1t) and a 45t (+2t) rear sprocket during check out in the "Add Message" tab. The -1t rear sprocket is the normal quick acceleration change, but when paired with the +2t rear sprocket it will make your bike MUCH quicker in lower gears and will raise your RPMs/lower your top speed.(520x13/45t Extreme Quick Acceleration Ratio is the Default gearing supplied) For QUICK Acceleration 13/43t gear ratio (Quicker off the line, snappy roll on's, easier wheelies), Request a 13t (-1t) and a 43t (oem) rear sprocket during check out in the "Add Message" tab. The -1t rear sprocket change is normal change, in the direction of quickness off the line. For FREEWAY GEARING 15/43t FASTER TOP SPEED, and LOWER HIGHWAY CRUISING RPM's, Request a 15t (+1t) front sprocket, and a 43t (oem) rear sprocket. The +1t rear sprocket is a normal change, that will give you noticeably lower top gear cruising rpm's and higher top speed, but may feel a little slower off the line. Original Factory Supplied OEM 14/43t size sprockets are the calculated "Happy Medium" of off the line acceleration, roll on's, and reasonable high speed engine rpm's with the least amount of compromise on either top end or low end acceleration If you are using your entire gear box ratio as it is from Yamaha, then OEM 14/43t sprocket sizes are best for you.
