Installation Check List: (Failure to complete all of the following will void Warranty) Reflash/Relearns: vehicles newer than 1996 may require a dealer reflashing tool to perform procedures, Buyer assumes all cost. Determine why the original engine failure occurred and make appropriate repairs. Ensure this engine is the same application as the one being replaced. Clear all computer diagnostic codes from the vehicle prior to installing. Inspect and replace gaskets & seals (front seal, rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, oil pan/pickup tube, gaskets, etc.). No warranty/guarantee on leaks. Replace the oil pump, oil cooler, oil pan and pick up tube. Install new water pump, thermostat & gasket (warranty will be void if engine heat tab is melted or removed) Flush Radiator and cooling system, and insure sufficient flow. Remove all caps, plugs, orifice covers, tape, rags, coverings. Replace harmonic balancer and bolts, and flywheel and bolts: must lock-tite fasteners and torque to OEM specifications. Torque to Yield bolts and fasteners are not to be re-used. Must be replaced with new and torqued to OEM specifications. Exchange attached accessory items to ensure proper fit (mounts, brackets, intake & exhaust manifold, distributor, sensors, hoses, lines, injectors, turbo, spark plugs and wires, timing/serpentine belt and/or chain, etc.). Disable fuel/ignition before attempting to start engine. This will allow the oil to prime as indicated by the manufacturer. Pre oil turbo feed port prior to starting. Failure to perform will result in turbo bearing failure. Replace engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filters, coolant-antifreeze. Ensure correct oil, filters and fluids are correct to manufacturer specification. Drain/Remove excess oil and coolant from exhaust system and charge air system. Any race/competition use will void my warranty. Buyer MUST Perform engine oil and filters changes per manufactures schedule, not to exceed 5000 miles between oil changes. WARRANTY: The return must be legit and must comply with the terms of our warranty and the buyer must accept and respect the following terms: Only Seller can perform inspections/diagnostics for warranty claims. Warranties are not permitted to nor re-imbursed when tear down, diagnostics, or inspections are performed through other repair facilities, buyer, or individuals Seller is not responsible for any labor charges; incidental or consequential damages; Lost profits, sales or income; Injury to person or property damage; wear items, fluids, and parts; substitute transportation or lodging; unauthorized repairs; towing charges or road side assistance; freight or shipping; phone calls; service charges; diagnostics; storage, docking, lift, pick up or delivery fees. If during the installation process, minor defective parts are found, please contact us in order to get them replaced. If you choose to purchase such parts from other retailers, it will be at buyer’s own cost. The test and inspection is to determine that neglect nor damages have occurred to the products or items during the client’s possession. When we sign for the receival of the item (Proof of Delivery) at our warehouse, the act of signing does not apply that your claim has been accepted. If the item is returned with missing or damaged parts, you will be charged the retail price of replacement of the missing part(s) which we will deduct from the refund at our discretion. If during inspection we discover that the item was damaged or destroyed while under the client’s possession, we will not issue any refund and may pursue legal claims. Upon completion of the test of the item, and if your claim is determined to be valid, we will notify you for replacement. If the case is determined NOT to be valid, there will be no replacement sent or refund issued. Buyer will assume all shipping costs to receive item back if wanted along with a shop rate of $120/hour for any tear down, testing, and assembly. Warranty will be void if signs of neglect, abuse, or race/competition use. Warranty is not transferable to through sale or change of ownership. All parts/items that Seller sells come with a 5 Day Return Policy unless otherwise stated. The 5 day period that starts when you take possession of the part which starts from the sale date. In the unlikely event that the item needs to be returned, the item must be in the same condition it was sold, fully assembled and in original unopened packaging. If the item is returned with missing or damaged parts, Buyer will be charged the retail price of replacement of the missing part(s) which will be deducted from the claim at Seller discretion. Seller will not accept returns for parts that’s have been installed even if they are used parts at time of sale. Seller does not cover the cost of labor charges during the installation of your parts. Please contact Seller through for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA) before returning any part. When Seller signs for the returned item (Proof of Delivery) at warehouse, the act of signing does not imply nor certify that buyer’s claim has been accepted. Buyer assumes the cost of the return shipping. All original shipping costs are non-refundable nor re-imbursed by Seller. Charges related to the return of the item must be prepaid by the buyer. Buyer is responsible for any shipping/handling charges of any cores. Cores must be properly tagged with information. Buyer accepts this item as pictured/inspected at this time of purchase. The buyer acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement shall be governed by Ohio law and any legal proceeding arising out of this Agreement shall be exclusively brought in any court with competent jurisdiction over Spencer, Ohio. This Agreement contains the entire agreement between Buyer and Seller. Should any provision of this Agreement be found to be unenforceable, then such provision shall be severed from this Agreement, and the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
