Description: This 986 V2 Boxster is metallic midnight blue on graphite gray leather with the 2.7-liter mid-engine and manual transmission. Performance and appearance upgrades include Bilstein dampers, H&R Sport springs, a GT3-style short shifter, emblem lettering change from Boxster to 718 GTS, newly powder- coated wheels and brake calipers, aftermarket exhaust system and engine management software. Equipment includes a removable hardtop, a blue soft top, Premium cup wheels, a deployable rear spoiler, CD stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. I'm the third owner and I bought it in March of 2023 from a man who purchased from his father. It had 101K and I drove it from Wisconsin to CO. An injury in May of 2023 resulted in my being unable to drive a manual again. That's how I only added 1,700 miles. The car comes with a clean title and clean CarFax w/ a single insurance claim after my son backed into it. Features include a speed-activated rear spoiler, side air intakes, and roll hoops. The bad stuff: wrinkles and slight discoloration on the soft top, slight discoloration and other imperfections on the replaced left-front fender. The hard top is said to be a different shade of blue than the body.The wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires measuring 235/45 up front and 265/40 on rears. Additional features are Rennline adjustable rear toe arms and ECU aftermarket tune. The axle shafts were replaced in July 2022. The water pump, serpentine belt, thermostat, and spark plugs and ignition coils were replaced in September 2021. Clutch components (flywheel, and pressure plate) were replaced in April 2022. Finally, a new LN Engineering IMS Bearing was installed in 2022 at which time the crankshaft seal was also replaced. This is car is mechanically perfect and pretty close to physically perfect!
