2002 Fender American Standard Stratocaster Red NHRA Hot Rod Signed Autographed

Description: 2002 Fender American Standard Stratocaster NHRA Signed Here is a very rare American Standard Strat signed by members of the National Hot Rod Association! The pickguard and tremolo cover were customized for K&N Performance Air Filters. This was a raffle prize at the 2003 Winternationals and has full or partial signatures from nine of the racers. It was played over the years and some of the signatures have worn off. I was able to identify Tony Pedregon, Jim Dunn, Tommy Johnson Jr. and Steve Johnson. It was also signed by someone on the back of the pickguard and back plate (looks like "Tim Ship" or "Tim Slip") who is probably the artist who made the pickguard.There is no COA or other info on the signatures, but I have no reason to doubt their authenticity. I purchased it from the second owner and don't know the full history on it. This is most likely a one-off and you won't see another one like it for sale in the future, so don't miss out!The body is in good condition overall but there are some small dings around the edges and light scuffs. Nothing out of the ordinary for a used guitar and there are no cracks, modifications or structural issues.The neck is straight and the frets show average wear. It's in excellent playing condition and has no major issues. The fretboard is clean and the back of the neck has some small indents, but no major dings. The headstock has small nicks around the edges but no cracks, repairs or extra holes. The nut is 1.70" wide, the neck measures 0.86" thick at the 1st fret and 0.88" thick at the 12th fret.The hardware and electronics are original and in excellent working condition. It comes in the original case which has some general wear on the outside. All of the latches, hinges and handle are in excellent working order and the interior has no bad odors. It does not have the tremolo bar, paperwork or other accessories.Actual weight is 7 lbs 8 oz.Please note that I do not set up my guitars before mailing. I have played it and everything is great as far as I'm concerned, but you may need to change the strings, adjust the action or do other maintenance to get it to your preferences.I list some of my items on both eBay and Reverb.
