2 Vtg Clark M. Goff Sketch Print "Swan Boat" and Old Ironsides" Boston Mass

Description: These vintage sketch drawing prints by Clark M. Goff feature two iconic Boston landmarks, the Swan Boat (a beautiful scene from the Boston Public Garden) and Old Ironsides. The matted print measures 8 inches in height and 10 inches in width, and is a licensed reproduction from the 1970s. The production technique is lithography and the print was produced in the United States. They were in frames all this time, but the frames were in such bad shape that I removed them. The prints and the mats are in excellent shape. They did their job, though, and protected these lovely prints for the past 44 years at least. There are a few slight things, there are marks on one of the prints, which I have shown you, and the prints themselves have yellowed slightly. There is a light bend on one corner. (you can see this in the last photos). I saw some other listing at some point, where they said that the Swan Boat was done in 1972, but I don't know if that is true - when I took them out of the frames, I saw an original paper backing, and it is dated 1980 (see the photo) - however, the owners may have bought it years earlier, and then had them framed later. These will be shipped in a cellophone-like sleeve, and covered on both sides with sturdy cardboard, taped so they don't move, and then put into a poly mailing .
