It is a HIGH END composite material based on aluminum shavings as in the other lines. It is encapsulated in a translucent epoxy resin that has a pale green to white color at normal daylight. When exposed to light it builds up a strong yellow green glow effect which then reflects off the aluminum shavings to give it a glowing 3D effect. The color and glow comes from very fine aluminum-strontium pigments, which are non-toxic, non-radioactive and produces a strong glow effect. As with any glow product the more light it receives the stronger and longer it will glow. This beautiful material polishes to a high-gloss finish.Each piece is unique and no two pieces are the same. You are NOT buying the knife handle blank in the first photo, you will receive a different piece but will be the same material, style and color.
