Approximately 5000 seeds? These seeds are very small, it's not possible to count out the seeds exactly, we measure them out with the tube and seal them in the envelope as pictured. It is about 25x more than you would get in a package from a store by comparison.Foxglove care, I have found is pretty simple. Sprinkle scatter the seeds onto loose prepared ground and water in, do not bury. The seeds are very small and will easily settle themselves in the soil. Provide them a good environment and they are hard to stop from proliferating. The first year, the plants will not flower, typically, sometimes but it's rare. On the second season of growing, you will get the big flower spike, and afterwards the plant will continue to regenerate year after year unless it gets sick from rot or destroyed by animals or other means, once established they are very hardy and naturally deer proof, they will not even nibble on them. If you are planting outside, the plants love to be planted on the lee side of a tree or nearby an old stump, it provides a good place to shelter from being trampled while they get established and the roots of the foxgloves follow the already established roots of the tree and enable the plant grow better, its where I usually find them growing in the forest.
