These inserts are found on the inside of the steel mount head and protect wheels from scraping and gouging due to the metal head contacting the wheel. These are found in many mount heads found on early and late model Cemb & Guliano production models. These inserts can be used in place of most steel roller wheels in older mount heads to add extra insurance when dealing with delicate wheels. We have other style inserts listed on ebay as well.
