2 Bride Groom Vintage Photos Just Married Wedding Watch Philadelphia Grow 1929

Description: Offered are two vintage photos of a newlywed couple, it looks like they are dressed in their finest, ready to start their honeymoon trip. They need to hurry - they were married just about one month before the stock market crash and the beginning of the Great Depression. On the back of one photo is written: "Sept. 15 1929 ... Our Wedding Day." Both photos measure 2¾ x 4½ inches. The one is quite interesting - there are two signs on the ground in front of the couple. The first makes sense, it reads "Just Married." The second sign, though, is a puzzle to me... "Watch Philadelphia Grow"??? No idea the why or wherefore! But as true today as it was in the 1920's! PLEASE NOTE: The photos are actually clear and sharp, I deliberately made them fuzzy to stop unauthorized duplication. The postcards you receive will be in focus and sharp. Also, there are what look to be water spots on the "just married sign" photo - but they aren't there. They are an effect that I put on when I scanned the photo, to avoid unauthorized duplication.
