Description: These Noritake dishes have interesting history in that they were made under at least 4 different names between 1900 and mid 1921 These are Goldcroft, Mikado , Chaumont and Colonial Some of at least the last three were name marked in the nippon period but in the case of Goldcroft and Colonial sets not all were marked with names however the non named Colonial were made post 1921 with the made in japan mark ( red m wreath ) and the Goldcroft with no name mark were pre 1921 and marked with the made in japan mark . These are post 1921 with the red wreath mark . That was the last of this pattern by any name until is was post world war II revived under the name again of Goldcroft from 1948 until 1955. Really it doesn't matter what the mark or name you buy to complete a set they are as far as i have been able the find all the same except in the cases if some cups and the lack of some verge lines ( the small gold line ) on some of the serving pieces . I do not sell chip ,cracked or otherwise damaged porcellian or pottery china unless it is specifically noted , however it is to be noted that these may have minor cut marks, crazing, gold loss or minor staining and not to be considered damaged as this is consistent with normal wear on old porcellian and more often in pottery china. because of the weight and care that is needed in safely sending dishes it sometimes cost more to ship than the product cost . Be assured I do the best possible to insure the safety of any you buy from me Thanks Art Faubion Please check pictures I describe as best I can .I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS and pack well to avoid any breakage . I do not charge extra for handling or packing materials it is included in the shipping fee . Please note that due to postal fees and cost of packing materials going up I have had to increase my shipping fee . I have cut the Product cost as much as possible to help off set this . I now sometimes cost more for shipping than the product cost .This means I can not give discounts to any large degree . I do my best Thanks ART
