Description: 2 Antique c1890 Austrian Royal Vienna~ Demitasse Espresso Cup & Saucer Gold Gilt A pair of demitasse Royal Vienna cup & saucers with beehive mark under glaze, cobalt blue enamel and real gold embellishment. They are decorated with cartouche panel and hand painted Watteau scene of courting couple / lovers. These are a romantic set and are in very good condition with, just a little rubbing to the gilt which is quite minor. One saucer has a tiny fleabite sized nip and a miniscule tiny fleabite to the underside saucer rim. The other has a fleabite to the saucer on the rim which has been historically touched up with gilt. There is gilt wear to the swags. Cup 2 & 1/4" or 5.7cm diameter and 3" or 7.7cm heightsaucer 4 & 1/8" or 10.5cm diameterPlease inspect all images carefully before purchase.
