Happy Hollidays Special Edition 1998 Barbie Doll MINT Rare Box Error. This Barbie is New in original unopened packaging and never removed from the box. This box shows Barbie with her black dress and pink short cape on the back of the box (as shown in photo), but she is actually wearing a long pink satin cape (as shown in photo). She is also wearing a belt on the front, and this belt is missing on the back image. Once Mattel was aware of error they rectified with the correct back picture. This is truly a collectors piece! This is the last of the Happy Holidays series that was made from 1988-1998 when Mattel then switched to just Holiday Barbies in 1999. This was also the first time Barbie wore her hair in an elegant up-do with a tiara. Items included: Barbie, black gown with glitter print, hand ring earrings, shoes, crown, hair brush, and doll stand.
