Description: 1998 Department 56 Snow Village “COSTUMES FOR SALE” complete set of two working Halloween themed display piece in original box and foam interior. Immediate condition notes - no included papers. Some leaves on the item may be missing or loose. Adorable set with both pieces including shop and the lady and child. About lighting, it DOES WORK but the wiring or switch is temperamental and you need to switch somewhere between ON and OFF for it to stay lit up I am unsure why this is. It comes with a battery pack with an on and off switch - requires 2 C batteries NOT INCLUDED. It has a limited battery life according to the box and says designed to be used with a Department 56 adapter (number is listed on the box for compatible adapter number and says using any other adapter could cause product failure - ADAPTER NOT INCLUDED.) Battery compartment as seen in photos looks clean. I am unsure if this matches any other larger or smaller sets. Item used but good shape - DEPARTMENT 56 ITEM CONDITION NOTES - This item was used and displayed by previous owner, and you can expect general wear and tear to the outer box and foam. This includes tears, discoloration, residue, staining, and so on. Some or all included papers may be missing, torn, wrinkled.
