Description: 1997 DODGE VIPER GTS. Custom Paxton Novi 2000 Supercharger Kit - the only thing we kept from the original blower kit was the unit, the bracket, and the feed lines, the rest was customized and unique to this car. The fabrication was done by Justin Bondurant at JMB Performance in Missouri (car was shipped to there). Ram air to IC under the car. Larger 7.3" crank pulley and aftermarket 3.25" anodized blower pulley = 7-8 psi. On Low boost, this equals roughly 850 whp and TRQ on e85 with no belt slip. Woodhouse Viper, JMB Performance, Evans Tuning, and Havik Performance are some of the names who have tuned or modified the car. Mike at Havik can vouch for the car as he knows it very well. AEM infinity 10 stand-alone with RSI harness ($11k installed) with AEM serial gauge. Full fuel system with black steel braided lines and AN fittings. ID 1000’s. Return fuel system. Fuel pressure regulator with gauge. 2-bar MAP sensor. Polished alloy fuel rails from JMB. Dual Walbro e85 455 lph pumps with Custom fuel hanger. TIAL bov. Hurst short shifter (rare). 18” Forgeline SP3P 3 piece wheels ($1500 each) with MT 345/18 DR’s on rears. Full Stoptech BBK all around with cross-drilled rotors ($8-9k) Factory Gears With Unitrax Detroit-Locker / Eaton Tru-Trac LSD (quaife style), Unitrax half shafts, and Unitrax driveshaft loops from Dan Cragin at SPT. Viper exchange engine and trans mounts. SPEC stage 2 clutch and flywheel. Eibach lowering springs. Moog Sway bar end links were replaced on all 4. Energy Suspension sway bar mounts. All new tie rods on all 4 corners this past year. Recently aligned 2023-2024 (within the last 100 miles). New battery and wiring. Rewired ground front and rear in 2024. Custom ground comp cam (boost application). Brian Crower Dual Valve Springs w/ retainers and seals, Chromolly push rods. Gen 3 Viper 1.7 Rockers. IPSCO Oil splash baffle. ATI Super Damper. Aftermarket Radiator with Alloy Feed and Return Elbows, Aftermarket Center mount Radiator fan, upgraded fan relay (there are no cooling issues). Belanger long tube headers. Corsa extreme cat back with No cats. Custom catch can from JMB wth AN fittings and black braided lines. Custom-made coolant reservoir powder-coated black from JMB. New Water pump. New Wires and Plugs. PPF on from front bumper & 1/3 hood. Mirrors. Side sills. Rear lower bumper.Ceramic Pro full car; Very hydrophobic. No accidents. Paint 9.5 /10 and Interior 9.5/10. Has a few paint chips here and there, they are Not noticeable. The Front very bottom of bumper has some spidering but if you’ve looked at any Gen 2 yet, they all have this! It’s covered in ppf. The interior driver seat has a tiny wear mark also in the same spot every Gen 2 gets it. Entry side near the door at upper portion of seat back. I can add a picture of this (it’s negligible). Has one of the newer cam sensors. Brand new evaporator for AC this year including New lines and o-rings. Ice-cold AC! Original interior. Dash has some mild hazing, a tiny crack, and a tiny scratch from before my ownership. Radio works perfect. All new speakers though (originals dry-rotted). Fire extinguisher in the cab, mounted to chair rail in the passenger's foot well. Sneaky Pete Floor mats. Original keys, and original FOB's + new updated fobs (total of 4 fobs, one is new in the bag). Black viper badges. Custom billet gas cap with red sneaky Pete emblem. Dodge Viper car cover with sneaky Pete. Two Dodge Viper tech service manuals. If I had to guess, at least $70k in modifications are done to the car; Parts and labor. I built it for 1000+ WHP but never pushed the car beyond its current level because I felt it was “fast enough” and have several other cars. 96-99 have forged bottom ends and are capable of big power. Never tracked, it has been more of a show stopper. Award winner at Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle June 2018. One of the cleanest and most babied built Gen 2’s out there. Car mostly stays in the garage. Southern car most of its life. Under-carriage & engine compartments are both extremely clean; Just some dust! Not driven in the rain or snow. It is well sorted. Spared no expense. If at any time I was told by Havik Performance to “do this” I did it. Annual maintenance was performed every year even if I drove it 200 miles that year. I did not get traction control sensors but they can be added and tuned. It does have anti-lag / launch control tuned in but was not brave enough to use it. Car is a white knuckle monster, Yet very reliable. I once drove it across the country (from New Orleans to Philly).
