Description: 1996 National Business Furniture Buyer's Guide Catalog - First Edition Description Up for sale is a vintage (or nearing vintage) National Business Furniture Buyer's Guide which just so happens to be the first edition from 1996; yet the company was around since 1975 which is a bit odd. Anyways, this catalog (along with a few other catalogs and magazines) was kept in an open tote storage tote for the past unknown number of years (or decades rather) that had picked up quite a bit of dust and played host to a much unwanted termite infestation. Most of the catalogs contained in this crate had to be thrown out because they were just beyond salvation, but luckily this particular catalog didn't seem to be affected all that much... however, it still may exhibit some signs of wear on it brought on by overall age and general storage. These visible signs of wear appear mainly in the form of foxing (i.e. yellowing/staining) on the cover and throughout the pages of the catalog along with some creases near the spline, some slight scuff marks here and there, and/or slightly bent corners appearing throughout the pages of the catalog and what have you. The rear cover page also had a recipient address printed on it. This address was purposely rubbed off (for the sake of anonymity and what have you) using some acetone and some further going over with a disinfectant wipe; the result of which did cleanly take off most of the ink but left a rather noticeable smear on the rear cover which was covered up with a blank address sticker label. Basically put, this catalog exhibits all the hallmark signs that one would expect to find in a publication from this vintage in addition to this covered up intentional blemish. Despite the signs of wear on this catalog, I figure that anybody who's into vintage catalogs; let alone a first edition, mind you... will definitely not want to pass up on this listing; so please be sure to get in on this deal while it still lasts, for my loss is your gain as they say in the trade.
