Description: This listing is for 1 penny from 1988, which is in BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) condition. These coins were bought at an estate sale, where their previous owner had them in clear plastic rolls. There are absolutely no scratches (from post mint damage.) Multiple have very interesting dimpling, bumps, and patterns that came from being minted. These have not been picked through or searched in any way. I bought a total of 10 rolls of these, and have opened up 5 for myself. The rest are for other people to look at and find. I’m only 1 roll into my 5 and I’m honestly getting a bit overwhelmed. And a note as well, some of the coins have spots of black along them. This appears to be just how the metal has aged. While I will not include any coins that have a large amount, please be aware there may be a few small spots on the coins. This can be seen in some of the pictures to show what I mean! Just to share, if anyone is curious, I have found a large amount of them with doubling. Specifically obverse, along the face and letters of America and the 88 in 1988. The reverse of some have shown light doubling, but a few random die chips were mainly found in the reverses of the ones I’ve looked at. Of course this does not guarantee that you item will have anything, I wanted to share because I assume these were all received from the same bank, though I could be wrong!
