Description: 1982 P Small Date Copper Lincoln Cent As you may already know, in 1982 the Philadelphia & Denver mint printed Lincoln cents in 7 different varieties with both 95% cooper and 5% zinc as well at 97.6% zinc with 2.4% cooper plating. They also minted them with a large date and a small date, Denver did not mint a Small Date Cooper cent. While it is sometimes difficult to determine the difference between the cooper pennies and the zinc pennies, you have to weigh them, its obvious the difference in the large date and the small date. These coins are getting very difficult to find in quality uncirculated condition. Well, lets face it, they are now 36 years old. The price is continuing to go up of these coins with the Philadelphia Small Date Zinc rolls selling on Ebay for as much as $55.00 per roll. The complete sets (7 Coins) are now selling on Ebay for over $16.00. I have taken these coins from Bank Wrapped Rolls. I examine each coin looking for marks and spots. The coins you receive from me should be free from major spots and marks. Of course some can have minor toning and an occasional spot, but you will find that the majority of these coins will be all very nice uncirculated red coins.
