1980 Hunter Cherubini 27 Sailboat Masthead Sloop Project

Description: 1980 Hunter Cherubini 27 Masthead Sloop refit for cruising the Caribbean. The heavy lifting having already been done with new standing and running rigging in 2020. Upgraded standing rigging to 1/4". Installed used Harken fuller in 2020. Rigging work done while in the yards in St. Marys, GA. New anchor light w/solar cutout installed in 2020. New LED stem/deck light combo installed 2020. Have receipt for all rigging work upon request.Hull and deck painted while in yards 2020. Bottom below water line completely redone (all prior bottom paint coats removed, all osmotic blisters removed and properly repaired with WestSystem) with 2 coats Pettit 2-Part Epoxy Barrier and two coats Pettit Trinidad Hard. Thruhulls removed and rebedded - backing plates properly made and epoxied in. Original hatches removed and replaced with Lewmar Ocean Series Hatches. Original port lights removed and replaced with Newfound Metals stainless steel/tempered glass (tinted), w/stainless steel screens - installed with all stainless hardware and butyl tape, note the teak spacers in the interior - all port light work installed in accordance with manufacturers instructions/recommendations. Diesel engine runs well. Custom electrical distribution panel installed (Paneltronics) with BlueSea Systems ADD A BATTERY dual circuit system installation (1 cranking battery & 1 house or both to cranking). Guest grounding plate (large enough for SSB installation) installed Portside aft for bonding and lightening protection purposes. All equipment manuals, receipts retained. Oversized Fortress anchor, oversized plow anchor included for anchoring out for storms/hurricanes. Boat has been hauled out and on the hard for the past two hurricane seasons, located at Brunswick Landing Aiken Storage Yard. Storage is paid through end of November. Ownership and yard monthly storage will be transferred over after purchase - notarized bill of sale/receipt will be provided. Very capable coastal Caribbean cruiser for the right sailor.
