1977 Hostess Unissued Proof Dave Parker #119 panel set sheet Ultra Rare!

Description: Offered here is one of the absolute rarest cards of the 1970's, a 1977 Hostess Unissued Proof card of Dave Parker card #119 on a full panel, including card numbers 118 and 120. Dave Parker was never issued on a panel or box for distribution. This card is extremely rare. Dave Parker was supposed to be the player featured on card #119, but they made a last minute switch and used Jerry Reuss instead, whom was originally made as a reserve and numbered 159(which was never released to be included in the set). As such, the Dave Parker card never made it onto a box or panel for distribution in the stores and this panel is a hole in everybody's 1977 Hostess set. Instead, all the Hostess cards #119 in the 1977 set you see are of Jerry Reuss. The 1977 Hostess set consisted of 150 cards, but on a few production sheets they made some extra cards to be possible replacements for another card in the set or to make a larger set. This card was never issued to the public. Very few were made and fewer survived. This is a final production card with a printed back. This is a very rare find.
