Description: The Atlas of Washington County by J.A. Caldwell was originally printed in 1876 for the Centennial, considered, "one of the finest of the many county atlases that were published in the last quarter of the Nineteenth Century." This 1976 book is a replica edition printed as it was a century prior with all pages, illustrations, and text of the original, printed in the same large size, with an additional Genealogical Map of Pennsylvania Counties. Measuring in at 13-3/4 inches wide and 17 inches tall, this wonderful reference provides large maps, drawings showing the county as it was, and an advertising business directory. In great vintage condition, this copy has scuffs and wear to the cover and corners; no tears, writing, stains, etc have been noted, with minimal age-related yellowing.
