Description: 1976 Honda XL 350THE 1975 SOLD!!!!! I am selling a Honda XL350 1976. I purchased these because they were too nice to leave behind. They are in great condition for 50 year old motorcycles and I fully planned on getting them up to par and keeping them in my collection as riders. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to do anything with them and I have over a dozen others (Mostly 2 Strokes) that I really love and want to restore. I don't see myself getting to these 2 anytime soon, so I'd rather see them go to someone else who has the time to get them running properly and enjoy these awesome bikes. That, and I really, really, could use the garage space. As you know, Honda's XL series of classic 1970's motorcycles have helped define a golden era in motorcycling, are highly collectible, great investments, and are known worldwide for their legendary reliability. Here's what I know about these 2 Honda's: The 1974 XL 350.SOLD!!! VIN# XL350-2009458. Odometer shows 864 miles. I purchased it from a fellow who bought it at an estate sale. Supposedly there was 1 owner before him and the bike was stored inside for decades, and according to the seller the mileage is correct but I have no way to verify that. It is a super clean, complete 50 year old Honda. The title was lost to the years, but one can be had in any state for varying degrees of ease and fees. It will come with a notarized Bill of Sale and a clean VIN check. The bike underwent a rather impressive amateur restoration by the previous owner, new tires, tubes, chain, paint, battery, petcock, oil change, plug, and more. The inside of the tank is clean, there are no leaks, and it appears to have all it's original parts (minus the blinkers but I have an OE set). It has great compression, shifts, clutch works, brakes work, as well as all the horn, blinkers, and all the lights. It does have a few small dents in the tank on the right side. I have had it running but it can be hard to start and has a low and mid range miss, but runs great at higher RPM's. I haven't dug into it mechanically at all. but I believe it's a carburetor issue causing it to run too rich. So be aware you will need to do the usual maintenance and tuning on this that any bike that has been stored for a long period of time would need before you can ride it.. With a little TLC it will be an incredibly nice classic bike. The 1975 XL 350 VIN# XL-350-3005977, It has 3400 miles and a clean Pa. title. I purchased this locally and that person had owned it for about a decade and it sat unused in his garage for that long. It also is very clean, very original, and appears unmolested. I did put fresh gas in it and installed a new battery and plug and it started. I rode it up the road but it didn't run great. This one also seems to have a fuel issue and will need the same attention as the other one before you can ride it. It has great compression, all the gears, the clutch and the brakes work, as well as all the lights, horn, blinkers, speedometer and tachometer. It smoked a bit when it was first started but seemed to clear up the more it ran and the engine had no unusual noises or leaks. Again, I had no time to dig into it mechanically so I'm offering up my best guess. It does have a dent on the right side of the tank (see pics), but like the other one, with a little TLC it would be an awesome, street legal, vintage motorcycle. Just to be 100% clear, these bikes are in great condition for the year and I guarantee they do run. However, as I stated they will need all the usual prep and tuning before they are ridden as they were stored for a very long time. You are not going to kick these twice and head out on a 50 mile ride as they are. If you or a friend are not mechanically inclined on these old bikes you may want to get your local shop to go through the basics and do any adjustments needed on them (Carb, points, timing, valves, etc.) before you ride. PLEASE READ: These are priced well below Hagerty's lowest valuation (Fair Condition) for these bikes,( Show condition these are valued at 10K each). I'm just looking to get back what I have in them. I do NOT ship but will make any reasonable effort to assist the shipper of your choice. I can store these inside for up to 30 days as long as they are paid in full. After that there will be a $25.00 fee per day unless prior arrangements have been made. A $500.00 nonrefundable deposit is due as soon as you decide to purchase these and the balance is due within 5 days, I accept PayPal (Friends & Family), Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, wire transfer, certified check and cash. The bikes will not be released until your form of payment clears YOUR bank. There is no guarantee or warranty expressed or implied and these are being sold as is. All sales are final. Please make sure you want these and can pay for them before you buy. If you can adhere to these simple terms I will personally guarantee the smoothest online vehicle purchase you have ever made. If you are local you are encouraged to make arrangements to view the bikes before you buy. Feel free to ask any and all questions you might have or request additional pictures. These are also listed locally so I reserve the right to end the sale early. The price is for both bikes.
