Joichi is well-known for his woodblock print abstractions depicting trees and the galaxy, often incorporating metallic pigments. This print is entitled "Yuu" meaning "Evening." It is titled in pencil at lower left. It is also signed and dated ('74) in pencil at lower right. It is matted and framed in the original frame, with a Tokyo framer's label on verso.Condition: Print shows moderate toning and minor foxing in right margin. Matting shows minor staining. Frame has moderate scuffing.Measurements: Print measures 10.5 inches high x 5.5 inches wide (sight). Frame measures approximately 14.5 inches high x 8.875 inches wide.
