The text includes a portrait of each artist, a brief bio, and samples of his/her work; there is also an opening essay, "Reflections on an Exhibition" by art historian William Gaines. This copy remains in unusually good condition. The covers show minor wear, including a small mended tear to the bottom of the die-cut "12". The binding is strong. A light bump to the top forward corner of the text. The pages are slightly toned with age, otherwise in great shape. Very rare in any condition, never found at this low price.
