1974 Fender Stratocaster Blonde with Original Hardshell Case Vintage American

Description: The serial number is "569223" which dates it to 1974. The pots date to November 1973 (137-7345) and the pickups have 1974 date codes. This one has the rare original blonde finish! The body is in very good condition overall, but has some small dings, scratches, scuffs and wear. Nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage guitar and no cracks or structural issues.The neck is straight and it was recently re-fretted by one of the top luthiers at Taylor Guitars! I'm not sure what kind he used but they're about the same size as the originals. It actually has not been played since so they're in perfect condition. The fretboard and back of the neck were refinished but the front of the headstock was not touched. The nut is also new. It's in excellent playing condition with no major issues. The fretboard and back of the neck are clean with no major dings or worn areas. The nut is 1.59" wide, the neck measures 0.84" thick at the 1st fret and 0.92" thick at the 12th fret.The previous owner installed a set of new F tuners on the headstock and enlarged the holes for the bushings, which damaged some of the wood around the edges. The largest area is on the back of the headstock (high E tuner) but there are some small chips on the front also. I took the new tuners off and installed a set from a 1978 Strat so you at least have vintage parts now. No cracks extra holes.The hardware and electronics are in excellent working condition. A few of the solder joints have been touched up but everything looks to be original. The pickups measure 5.72 Ω (Bridge), 5.52 Ω (Middle) 5.50 Ω (Neck). It comes with the original case which has some general wear on the outside. All of the latches, hinges and handle are in excellent working order and the interior has no bad odors.Actual weight is 9 lbs 9 oz.Please note that I do not set up my guitars before mailing. I have played it and everything is great as far as I'm concerned, but you may need to change the strings, adjust the action or do other maintenance to get it to your preferences.I list some of my items on both eBay and Reverb.
