1973 Fruit Jar Manual & Price Guide + Bottle Identification 1965 & Gazette 1972

Description: Fruit Jar Manual and Price Guide by Frank Peters, 1973. Comb binding with photo cover, 114pgs with photos, descriptions and pricing information. Includes flyer printed on blue paper for instructions on ordering more guides. Guide has foxing on cover and first page, exhibits shelf wear including dirt and green colored marking on cover. There is some page discoloration/darkening, but otw pretty clean. Guide shows some great old canning jars, great resource for collectors!I am also including Bottle Identification by HE Putnam, 1965. Guide is full of illustrations and descriptions of many types of bottles and fruit jars. Booklet has very primitive tape binding with card stock cover, some pages have come loose, plenty of age & use related issues, including creasing, discoloration, edge wear, minor tears, etc. An article on Bottle collecting from a 1970 Family Circle was taped to inside of the back cover. There is a single sheet, folded, with 4 printed sides, comparative price guide for bottle identification, no date shown.Also included is the 31pg National Bottle Gazette from Aug-Sep 1972. Printed on newspaper type stock, has yellowed with age. Guide has a subscriber name and address. Guide was from Kermit, Tx, not certain if it is still in existence. Guide has articles and advertising geared to bottle collectors. I have included photos showing examples and tried to describe and represent condition, but can only describe what I am aware of.
