Description: 1970s Timex Snoopy Tennis Red MYSTERY BALL wristwatch - vintage, running very well. Rare red version. Excellent quality replacement red leather strap that compliments the watch face colour nicely. Only noticeable blemish to the acrylic is a very tiny, almost imperceptible mark near the crown and I have photographed this carefully. You definitely wouldn’t notice this when wearing. The back and crown are in very nice condition, with a very small amount of chroming wearing away on the back as pictured. A superb example overall, in great cosmetic condition with a lovely face and pristine original acrylic glass. Amazing colour to the face. Will be very carefully wrapped for shipping and sent promptly. Case size without crown is larger than the classic yellow snoopy tennis watch. This one is 32mm. Note: listings like these on my account are vintage mechanical watches and I do not know their full service history. I obviously cannot give any guarantees for future or long term time keeping accuracy; they are not modern watches. If you are looking for perfect timekeeping I do suggest looking for a modern watch. They need be looked after and handled relatively carefully, and not overwound. They are not waterproof. Indeed I have not taken the back off at all. Vintage mechanical watches have intrinsic value due to their history and limited availability, and tend to go up in value if nicely looked after.
