1970 OLDSMOBILE 442 W30 CUTLASS heavy duty cooling with A/C WATER PUMP # 404847

Description: 1970 Oldsmobile water pump, casting # 404847, fits 350 and 455 engines with air conditioning and heavy duty cooling and is correct for OAI with correct casting and correct impeller. Cast iron impeller is a must for cooling your 455 and 350 engines. Without the proper impeller cavitation occurs which can cause over heating. Most rebuilds and aftermarket pumps have open stamped steel fans which do not cool properly. This #404847 pump is correct for air conditioned cars and heavy duty cooling on non A/C cars. Pumps measure 5 1/2" and has the correct detail X on the inlet. Inlet is correct for 2" for proper lower radiator hose fitment Water pump comes with gasket and studs for clutch fan. Installing the correct water pump on your Cutlass 442 assures you of fan belts line up properly. Don't lose points at car show for wrong water pump. NO core charge.
