Description: DESCRIPTION: A solid example with minor wear. One owner since 1969 (read below). It retains only its original folds. A couple small tears but no holes, no tape. Minor fading and minor creasing to a couple corners.The roster depicted here was the beginning of the Big Red Machine. Two HOFers shown in Johnny Bench and Tony Perez, along with the late Pete Rose.PROVENANCE: I recently began assisting a local retired professional with his vast childhood collection of sports cards, sports memorabilia, books, and toys (partially shown in last pic). He kept nearly everything he acquired as a kid, including packaging ephemera. He personally pulled this poster from a pack in 1969. He arranged all his items, mostly from 1966-1975, in neat stacks in shoe boxes--and they have been stored in a highly organized fashion just like that for 50+ years in smoke-free, climate-controlled homes.
