Description: 1969 Rolex Datejust Oyster Perpetual 1603 Fluted Bezel Vintage Watch About the watch & condition: Here we have a stunning vintage Rolex Datejust with a nice oyster perpetual movement. The watch is dated 1969 and has been kept in good condition over the years. It has a beautiful dial and we’ve just fitted a brand new crystal. It’s running well, when time tested over 24 hours it was within 30 seconds. Further details below; The watch has a lovely champagne coloured dial with the contrasting silver markers & hands. It has a stunning patina as shown along with a few little marks as shown between the 11 & 12. Overall though it looks stunning on the wrist. The date wheel is also a superb addition and looks great through the cyclops lens. We’ve just had a new acrylic crystal fitted which now give you a clean view of the watch! The case itself is stainless steel and looks superb! It’s in amazing condition considering its age. There’s a few light scratches and a small ding on the lower right edge as shown, really nothing much at all for a watch that’s over 50 years old! It has its original Rolex branded screwdown crown which looks stunning & works just as you’d expect with no problems. The date in this isn’t quickset! The watch is sat on its original Rolex bracelet with the reference 6251H. It’s in great condition and works just as you’d expect! Size wise it will fit a wrist sized 7 1/4 inches or smaller. There’s some light scratches similar to the case but again this is to be expected of a watch this age! This is an automatic watch meaning it runs off the movement of your wrist. The watch has a small power reserve however if left for a period of time it will have likely stopped. This is just for the watch, there’s no box or paperwork. This is unfortunately common for vintage watches.
