Description: The program is in very good condition with some wear from use on the spine. There are no torn pages or creases, and all pages are secure. Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the program. The 14th Annual Virginia 500 was held at Martinsville Speedway on April 27th. The 1969 race was run in front of a sellout crowd of 23,000. The pole was won by Bobby Allison driving the #22 Mario Rossi Dodge. Richard Petty needed James Hylton's help to win his 94th career race. Hylton would drive relief for Petty from lap 399 to lap 447 when Petty feel ill. This brief stint allowed Petty to recover and beat David Pearson by three seconds. Following Pearson were Bobby Allison, LeeRoy Yarbrough, and Buddy Arrington. Please review the other racing items I have listed. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost. Thanks!
