It was her fifth marriage. She is shown in this combo surrounded by photos of her current and prior husbands. Her first husband was Nicky Hilton (L), son of the hotel magnate. She divorced him and later married British actor Michael Wilding (UC). Their marriage lasted 5 years and produced two sons. Mike Todd, the flamboyant showman (UR), was husband number three. Todd was killed in the crash of his private plane in 1957. Singer Eddie Fisher (LL) become Miss Taylor's fourth husband in 1959 -- after Fisher was divorced by actress Debbie Reynolds. After lengthy wrangling, Miss Taylor obtained a Mexican divorce from Fisher early this month on grounds of "desertion." Burton became husband number five 3/15. Photo measures 5.25 x 10 inches.
