Description: This coin seems to be a prototype of the 1961 John F Kennedy Innauguration Medal designed by famous Sculpture /Artist Ralph Menconi Made Of a silver tone copper . The official coins/Medals are made of bronze or silver!!! It is not made of a metal that is picked up by a magnet. I have owned it since 1961 ( 10 years old at the time)! The Condition is excellent considering its age and the crude way it was made. That is why I don’t think this Medal was made for the general population. Please check the photos and contact me with any questions. Thank you for your interest. Shipped by EBay’s Standard Envelope Service for coins, tokens and sports cards. Please check out the information sheet about the design artist
