An open centered, rotary type valve provides smooth operation throughout the steering range while retaining excellent road feel. Other boxes on the market are rebuilt units, while the 500-Series is a brand new box with a new housing, new internals, new gaskets, and new seals. Output shaft is 3/4-30, utilizes a factory manual steering steering pitman arm and the box is setup for flared fittings not o-ring. What more could you ask for? You will need a power steering pulley and rag joint to fit your current belt configuration and steering column. This kit also requires the use of a manual steering linkage and pitman arm, but if you are converting from manual steering, your original pitman arm will work.
